The Mk1.5 range of carburettors was designed to be used as a Mk1 type, but with features offered by the Mk2. The range was officially called the 1600-1900 range. Sizes available are 30 & 32mm, in right & left hand versions, with either a flange or stub mount. The flange uses the common 2" hole centres. The cold start system is that of the Mk2 Concentric lever type (also allowing a link bar between twin carbs) & an optional cable operated conversion kit. When ordering parts we will need to know the size of your carburettor.
An identification number will be appear on the body e.g. 1930. The first digit is the series (1900) the other numbers are the size (e.g. 30mm). A letter "L" or "R" designates left or right hand versions. Carburettors are supplied jetted to suit the majority of applications. Separate jets & slides are available for fine tuning.
A large range of parts for petrol & alcohol versions is available from British Spares. These carbs. were a standard fitment only to the Harris Bonneville, as shown below.
